LICENSED FOR HIRE

Cars for Stars Limited has offices in London and is licensed as a Private Hire Operator with the Public Carriage Office. Cars for Stars does not believe that it is right to take risks with the health and safety of our customers. Therefore we welcome the stringent regulations and rules that come with being a Licensed Private Hire Operator. In addition, it should be noted that any limousine company operating to or from London airports must be licensed with their local authority, many are not. This is less prevalent, but still a problem, with some chauffeur car hire companies operating an airport transfer service.

As a Licensed Private Hire Operator, we are subjected to regular checks by the Public Carriage Office (PCO) to ensure that we are all complying and interpreting the regulations correctly. In addition, each of our chauffeur driven cars and limousines offered for hire, must be subjected to, and pass regular inspections, which, as you might expect, are much tougher than any standard MOT test.

Of course our chauffeurs must also be licensed to drive our limousines or chauffeur driven cars. This process is managed by the Public Carriage Office, operating on behalf of Transport for London and will include a mandatory medical and a criminal records bureau check, providing additional peace of mind for our customers.

Please note that when using the maximum passenger capacity, luggage room is virtually non-existent, however, for airport transfers, we can transport your luggage to or from the airport in a separate vehicle (a small van) at a favourable rate.
